brother and i decided to keep the boat in, and just hit local ponds in the area. we started at the little pond, furthest north on ashburn village. i got 2 nothings, and my bro landed a nice 2.5# on scrounger head.
we moved on to belmont pond for a bit, nothing.
we then headed over to chantilly to get my wifes car. we hit 2 of the ponds on sullyfield cir/metrotech drive there, that you can see from 28, didnt even see fish. are there any fish there?
we then went over to the pond near the small cox building. right off willard. and uh.. well dont fish there.
swat team gear glad men with guns kindly took all of our info and then escorted us off the property.
google this for exact location.

You guys seem to have a lot of ponds and stuff around there. That's pretty cool...for the most part.

hahahaha.....you got escorted off the NRO. That's funny. We call it the "country club" cause they think they're so entitled. your better off coming a little further south and doing some fishing at bull run for small mouth, cat, and carp. There are also a couple small ponds right off 28 that hold nice bass!

NRO= National Reconnaissance Office

yup, it's an agency of DoD....hence the fence, guards, cameras, etc.
You have to come south past 66 and the first community on the left (behind the elementary school) are a couple ponds where I've stocked bass, cats, and some really nice BGs. I was once a part of the pond committee and pushed for stockings. Let me know if you get down that way. I live there, so I can meet you there!
