Gravelly Point Fish ID Please

I fished Gravelly this morning from 8:00 to 8:30.  Water was pretty high. There were a ton of little fish breaking the surface and some pretty large ones as well. I caught a small bass about 12 inches and also a catfish and a shad I think. I am posting the pics. Can anyone tell me what kind of catfish this is and if this is a shad, what type? Thanks!

Also, the tackle box in the photo with the catfish is not mine. I found it next to a broken spinning rod. If anyone knows the owner let me know.

The fish on the top is a white perch. The catfish looks to be a channel

I agree with Khahn.....

WP is the beast eating fish in the area....that channel cat is good too. best when they are small.

Thanks for the input. 2new fish for me today! I am heading back there at lunch. By the way, what is considered small for a channel cat?

Minimum size limit is 8".....a 15ish incher would be tasty!

Limit for white perch is 6".

You can keep as many as you want for both.

Re: Gravelly Point Fish ID Please

I am have a banner day, caught another catfish at lunch today a little bit smaller than the one in the picture. I also snagged a branch at gravelly. Put braid on my reels a few weeks ago and was able to pull off the branch without losing my inline spinner. The branch i pulled in had a crank bait, 2 rooster tails - a hair jig and a shad dart.
