First trip of the year; Pohick 3/14/2012
Fished a few hours with the brother today. This was officially the first trip of the year for me. Ended up with a nice 4+ in the channel on a rattle bait.
I also caught a dink on a small hard swimbait. My brother caught a dink and a 6-7lb cat on a fluke.

looks like you had a little nicer day weather wise out there than I did.
what was that, a week ago, we were there and was barely 40 and howling wind all day???

I was throwing an xcalibur x50 or x75...i cant remember. It was a gold shiner color. They are quality baits that are often on clearance at Dick's.
The ff read water temps in the mid-high 60s...i was shocked to see that.
