Big fish were inhaling my jig today. All hooked in the back of the mouth. First cast..........3 lbs 8 oz.
A little later..........4 lbs 3 oz.
Then a long dry spell and moved to another lake.........until this 1-4.
Moved to another lake and a fat 3 lb 13 oz takes my jig.
Lost another piglet before I headed home.
4 bass, including two 3+'s and a 4+....... totalling 12 lbs 12 oz and 69.25" today.............If I could have only landed the last one I lost......would have been a 15+ pound limit and probably over 85".

That is an incredible day any time of the year around here, let alone in the winter months!! Wish i could put up those numbers as consistently as you do. We'll have to go out one day around here so you can teach me your tricks!

I wish my black/blue jig would work like that for me.

Well it does have a purple curly-tail grub trailer.

Regular plastic pig trailer, but with a rattle imbedded in the pig trailer. Also has extra added skirt of 40+ count. All this makes a much slower fall and very busy looking jig when barely moving on the bottom.
