Christmas jigs!

While I wait for the family to stir (my boys are all in their 20's so it could be noon before we get into the fray), I thought I would share some pictures of some custom jigs. I bought the painted jigs from a fella in NJ.

For the 1st set, I simply put on a skirt and tipped the jig with either a BKD, a Case fluke, a BA or a Slug-go. The top one is 7.5" and the other is 6".

This next set (5") is something special. I sent the undressed jigs to Capt. Brady Bounds and he then tied them up for me, just like a fly. They came out spectacular!

I cannot wait to use them.....

Merry Christmas!!

Ernie-

those jig heads look alot like the ones used on Spro Bucktails.  Where do you find them undressed?

Re: Christmas jigs!

Those will work Ernie! They look very similar to my swamp munkeys that I have been using the past two seasons. They work well, especially when the fish are being finicky at the bridge!

I got a big batch of un-painted jigheads like those in 1.5oz and .75oz to paint and tie this winter. The do-it ultra minnow heads are very nice and work on everything!

Merry Chritmas!
