Hey guys-

I am curious about boat accesses in the NOVA area for a 12 foot jon boat..
The ones i know of & use are
Burke Lake
Algonkian Park
Fountain head
Beaver Dam-- yes! i can get my 12 foot jon boat in there... i roll my trailer down to the floating dock and lift if off with a buddy, myself, or ill ask the juveniles that are swimming to give me a hand :-)

I am interested in fishing Pohick for LMB and hopefully some snakeheads :-) so if someone can point me in the right direction for a launch in that area that would be awesome!!!!

Please don't tell this gentleman to launch a 12' jon boat at Leesylvania State Park. That boat is just too small for that water.

Another launch ramp you might consider would be EZ Cruz Marina on Neabsco Creek. That ramp would give you access to Neabsco Creek and plenty of Snakeheads. Just take Neabsco Road until it dead ends at EZ Cruz Marina. Neabsco Creek would be fine for a 12' jon boat.
Good bass fishing as well.
