Upper Potomac Smallies 7-15 + pics
Ellen and I got on the water at 5:45 am and she immediately puts the first fish in the boat.....a nice 14" scrappy smallie.
In all, we landed 12 smallmouth (3 dinks and 9 fish that were 12" or bigger. Big fish landed today was this very nice 17.5" (2 lbs 3 oz) smallie.
Lost a 3-4 pounder at the side of the boat later......it was a beast. I'm going to have to go back after that fish

Sounds like a plan...just need to confirm with my over stressed wife who is currently napping.....
If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

I remembered. A great evening all together. We caught and landed nearly 20 smallmouth and only a couple were under 12in. Here are two of our best.
