OK....let's do Monday, July 4.

I will do Kephart Bridge Landing at Elizabeth Mills Riverfront Park (43942 Riverpoint Drive, Leesburg, VA).

Some may want to go to Algonkian....

My canoe is taken by Coz (please confirm)....may have extra yak.

I plan on being there at 0530.

Working on confirmation. Just got back from Sweden. Will let you know soon.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

You can come whenever you want....we will all be scattered around the mouth of the Goose and we won't have to worry about jet skiers too much (maybe)!

Re: 4th of July Float

Looks like Tyler and I will be able to launch from Kephart.  We are new to the group and fishing the Potomac.  I hope it is OK if we come along.  See you at 530.

But of course...this is how lots of the guys have met each other.

The is a concern that the park may not be open at 0530....we are trying to check. The park is open at dawn which in my book is before sunrise which is at 0550.

Regardless, I will be there at 0530.

Re: 4th of July Float

Talked to a guy the other day when we were there near dusk.  He said the gate is only latched with a clip, no lock and that they mostly close it to discourage any late night shenanigans.  He said they don't bother fisherman/kayakers.  But it is definitely worth getting an "official" answer if possible.

Re: 4th of July Float

Dawn to dusk is all I could find out so I will be there at the appointed hour.

Kayak and canoe are loaded (between storms).
