Saturday @ Leesylvania

Launched at Leesylvania SP Saturday morning with my friend, Jack & his GF. We went back into Powell's Creek. The bite was slow and it was over after the sun came up high. We each managed a couple LM bass and I picked up a snakehead on a small floating Rapala. Man, those things stink! I called the VDGIF to report it and the voicemail box was full! Must be a lot of NSH's getting caught. Jack'e GF always seems to outfish him and today was no different. :-)

I like the pic very much and it shows the fishes color very well.

Re: Saturday @ Leesylvania

Actually Ernie, I gave it away to a shoreline fisherperson. I'm not much for eating fish from the Potomac. I'd rather ocean fish. I've heard they're good eating but didn't want to mess with it. If it tastes anything like it smells... bleh! Darn things stink!

Capt Mike, Here's a closer pic. The scales really look more reptilian than fishy!
