Sunday Storm Report

Since I figured out the pattern on Saturday we just did the same thing today. Worked out pretty good with some big blow ups and a snakehead that just could not be hooked. The snakehead hit the toad about five times and never got hooked.. Then a huge storm cell hit and it was bolts of lightning and rain in buckets coming down. Only lasted 30 minutes and was gone. Here are some pics.

Re: Sunday Storm Report

Capt Mike, I've had the same thing happen with snakeheads, always when sight fishing them. They just smack at a bait that comes near them a bunch but don't seem to actually get it in their mouths. It kinda makes me think that sometimes they aren't trying to eat a bait but are just annoyed by it. Any thoughts?

Re: Sunday Storm Report

I think this fish really wanted that frog.. I also think he was testing it by biting it on the legs and sides. They are smart.
