Hunt for the first white perch

This morning about 9am my wife, amy, my two kids, isabella and emma, and I decided to go to Deale, Maryland in search of the white perch with Carl's boat(the perch catcher).  I stopped at the tri-state marina which has lost its sign, the lady that worked there said that it had fallen down.  I also asked her if the white perch were in yet.  She showed me on the map an area that looked like a peak (I forgot the name), she said they been catching big ones there, but not yet at where we usually catch them.  So we headed that way and as we went a little the engine started to make choking sounds and eventually shutdown.  My wife and I looked at each other and said not again, You remember Ernie how you rescued us at Wicomico.

Any who, I guess when they repaired the boat they switch the gas line to the little motor.  No more problems once I switched it back.  I decided to try the famous rock formation first.  Nothing!  we spend about 30 minutes there and moved on to the peak and started catching THE WHITE PERCH!    \

We fished for a hour before the kids got hungry.

Total of 11 big fish, non smaller than 10.5" and 2 about 12" and fat.  We than ate at the restaurant on the water, and went home.

What a great place, can't wait to take Dan and Ernie to the new place.  Pictures to follow soon.
