Went out to Ashburn Lake today on a whim for about an hour and caught my 2nd biggest LMB ever. Both of my biggest bass were caught on this lake. I don't have the official measurements of my biggest bass but it was in the 23-24 inch range and weighed at least 8 pounds. I have a pic but it is on my phone which cannot connect to the internet or send pic messages at the moment. I am bugging my parents to enable it for a little so i can get the pic on the internet. The bass i caught today was 22-23 inches and 6.5-7# according to online weight charts. My scale did not work the one day i needed it most. These pictures were not taken at the location i caught it either these were taken by the car so nothing to worry about.

That's my boy! Really it is. The length measurement is accurate (22-23 inches). We double checked. It was a huge fish.

Ty - Did you put her back into the lake?

Yep, she went back in healthy and energetic. We kept her out a little longer than I would have liked because our scale didn't work and we were trying to take pics that kind of "documented" the size of this thing. That is the pic of the fish along Tyler's arm. On both Tyler and myself it went from our fingertips to mid bicep.

Maybe y'all can talk him out of posting his trips in Ashburn Village on forums other than this one since he is obviously a non-resident (WVA). That encourages more and more non residents to these lakes. HOA management is going to figure out sooner or later that there are a lot of non-residents fishing here. Even if they are putting the all bass back, the HOA will over react and put something into place that will not be good for anyone (especially residents).
