It's always something.....I think the crappie are active, the weather may not slow them down.

In the river, things have started and they will get there....we just won't be there to greet them.

I guess  I can keep cleaning out the basement....

Re: Weather for the next 7 days is going.........

Gonna fish both days this weekend. Might see a dip in temps but there are ways to work around that issue.
Choose a deeper pool of water that has warmed up. Fish the lower half of the deeper pools.

Also since all fish before the spawn move back and forth along "highways" try to entice a bite there..

Yep....I think the fishing will be decent but....I am now a cold weather wimp! I really dislike it.

I was waiting for Curly to post on the weather. Coupled with the rain and the water rising a bit more, not going to be fun getting into Fletchers.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

According to Dan Barnett's feeding Times, fishing this weekend would have been "poor"......

Probably the same thing I said to my wife when she mentioned the snow. God I hate March.

I can't stand cold weather.....not worth the aggravation for me.....too much work and pain fishing in the cold! But that is just me, I was born in Cuba and love the hot weather!

Re: Weather for the next 7 days is going.........

I do fish in the cold and will probably do so but spring is here and I need warmer temperatures now....

Saying that about cold, I am on my way to Arlington to help my oldest son out at baseball practice. He coaches a Little League team.
