First Bass of the season
I put in 30 mins at the afternon peak and landed two bass in a pond just outside the Village. One was close to 2lb the other was 1lb class . But I had 5 strikes in the 30 mins of fishing.
I fished the larger feeded creek (NW side), lots of snow melt and the rain broke up enough ice to get a line in. Both of my fish hit a small Berlkey Chigger Craw
If you guys were as desperate to see a bass as I was, I can post photos

Nothing special, but I didnt get skunked. Nice red lips on the Dink
Sunday is looking like a decent day to try again. I will try some of the ponds in the village ...
