Arrived at point of rocks 8am. light rain and water temps at 48. I thought it would be big bass weather. I threw my tackle box at them, but it was slow.
Final caught this festy 14" smallie. Then caught a fat 14" greenie in the mouth of a creek.
I didn't expect to see any large mouths above the bridge. Its funny the largemouth was slightly longer and fatter, but the small mouth fought twice as hard. You got to love them river smallies.
I had to leave at noon. I did not see any one from the brunswick Rodeo fishing down there. I am sure they will be in full force today. I am working

Jeff,
Nice fish!! I agree with you that they are twice the fight of the LMB. I even heard there was a smallie in Cedar somewhere.

Jeff,
Great scenery and way to go on the fish. I say that smallies fight 3-4 times harder than greenies....maybe more.
