Got home and started dinner early so that I could get some fishing in before it got dark. Had grilled melt-in-your mouth venison steak, yucca frita, cole slaw, and garden salad. My wife and I ate way to much.............I talked her into a Pavilion walk while I hit the hot spots to walk off some of dinner. I only picked up one punk bass during Ellen's lap. I still feel bloated .
Man...that sounds good! I think we need a food section on the site.
Over high heat, I browned a nice pork loin and then put it in the oven to finish cooking. I put it on bed of caramelized onions/red peppers with a bit of hoison sauce, real plums (small kind) and garlic. I then deglazed the pan with some sherry and added the juice over the pork. Veggies and brown rice were the sides.
