trilene XT

8# trilene XT is a bargain for the budget conscious angler

$6 for 330 yds. sometimes u can get it for 5.00

outstanding knot strength and abrasion resistance

when i snag it, i have a tough time breaking it off

i suspect it tests out closer to 12 or 14# test, as the avg diameter is about equal to those weights in XL

i throw it on my baitcaster, and change it about every 20 hrs of fishing, which is what i like to do anyway.

i only fill about the last two thirds of my spool, since i never go down any further

for me , it beats a 10.00 fill w/flourocarbon every day.

I bet i re-spool four times for six bucks

Re: trilene XT

I like it better than XL which is too stretchy. I still would rather use a copolymer line with less memory.
