Cedar 8-23 + pic

Got the wife to walk the lakes while I fished.  She got this pic of me with a 2 pounder after she had finished her walking.......Big fish this evening.

hah, thats me over your left shoulder. i saw you get nailed. How do you retrieve that j/p?  I have the same one, if i let it hit bottom, i end up with ceasar salad all over my lure....

Bounce it on the bottom very slowly.  Sometimes just make it twitch a little.  Shake the salad off by shaking the rod tip.........sometimes it gets covered with algae, but if you are not down in the salad.............you'll not catch many fish.

another thing that helps is some sort of oil based scent. It helps the bait slide through some vegetation without picking it up.
