very light flour and salt and pepper, heated a little oil and butter together and fried golden brown.
It has a very white meat, but firm texture not mushy.
Also as Capt. Mike said they are very easy to filet.

Thai, are you a lefty or do you fish the baitcaster goofy? I tried fishing it goofy a few times but right just feels more natural.

I crank with my left, the correct way......the whole winching using your strong hand theory is bullocks in my opinion, how much stronger do you need your hand to be to reel in a fish? And it makes more since to hold the rod with your more dexterous hand

An opinion of course.....you will find many people doing things very differently and its all OK. I love the right side as it takes some strain from my right arm and shoulder.

I think it's more of a generation thing, you old schoolers didnt have many LH's to choose from, now that the LH option is redily available more new fisherman are opting for the LH BC when switching from spinning to casting gear. But I do agree that your wrong reelers outnumber us correctys....
TEAM LEFTHAND! WOOT WOOT!

You calling me old??

I actually had a couple and used them but as I mentioned earlier, it's nice to fish with one arm or the other. On spinning tackle, I have the handle on the left and jig with my right. Evens out the work load.....

Bottom line is everyone has their preference, and Ernie old? No way! That one man that has more spunk than myself and most of the other kiddies on here

LH!
I was toying with the idea of trying a rightie because my right wrist is starting to bother me. but it just feels better for me to work a lure/rod with my right hand and leave the less detailed work (reeling) to my weak hand. just my preference!

I sold all my right handers a while ago...SOOOOO much better this way and not switching the rod to different hands!

Team Left hand is growing!

i turn my spinning reel w/ my right hand, as well as my baitcaster
i am right handed
somebody asked why i fished my spinning reel backwards
i said the first time i picked one up, thats what i did--been that way ever since...
i cut off four of my right hand fingers w/ a tablesaw when i was 14.
the were successfully re-attached, but i go lefty when dexterity is required.
keys left pocket, wallet etc
but, to me, reeling left handed simply doesnt compute. funny how the mind works...
my fishing partner is lefty, and reels lefty on the baitcaster as well. does this mean he is doing it incorrectly?
phil mickelson is right handed, but golfs lefty
when i fish in the mirror, i reel both styles lefty, but i turn the handle counterclockwise, so that doesnt work either
please help, i am getting confused

Some baseball players are switch hitters....
Most hockey players shoot opposite sided....
Go figure!

I am left handed. I play golf right handed. I cast right handed and reel left handed (I get left hand retrieve baitcasters). I just think of myself as ambidextrous for somethings. It's all good and it all works.

on paper on a desk, i write left handed. right handed is impossible
on a chalk board, i write right handed. left handed is impossible.
