Carp in DC, 5-27-10, 6-6-10

David Policansky ad Doug Errett (OldMan) are carp chasers...and catchers. On the fly no less!

Doug stalks them on the way to work and when he sees them on the move, he and David go on the hunt. Yesterday, they hit the canal before work and scored.

I have next Wednesday morning open, and I'll likely hit up those spots again, unless you want to try un your area...

Either way.....I can meet you early in DC or we can try the pond. The alfae might make it tough though.....

Here's a big one I snagged last month on the Potomac. Caught em in the tail with a crankbait, took us on a nice little ride.

Good deal.  So there are some around even with the canal being drained recently.  Lots of berries falling off every tree I've been driving by lately.

6-6-10 report

David was at it again...he said "It's been tough; few fish, refusals, but patience this AM rewarded."

On a fly mind you!
