Did some work on the boat since I have been home.  Last week my dad and I hooked up the trolling motor to the bow of the boat.  It proved to work great at Algonkian last weekend.  Today I setup the depthfinder, which has not been tried out yet.  I am worried the spinning of the trolling motor will mess up the picture.

Here is the trolling motor on the front.

This is where a small piece of parachute cord is tied to keep the motor from jumping up and down while the boat is moving and where the battery wire goes through.  The hole is behind the cleat.



This is the battery box that the battery lies in under the front deck.  The box keeps any juices that could come out of the battery from getting into the boat. It is strapped in by a buckle and pieces of wood that it lies between.



This is the transducer connected to the trolling motor by a hose clamp. 



This is the depthfinder.  It is an eagle cuda and it can be moved under the deck when driving the boat.



Once I can find a job I plan on doing some more additions to the boat. 
  -grip or carpet on the front deck so one can stand up.  It gets too slippery up there now.
  -electrical system that the bow and stern lights will run off of and an aerator.  This would have a master battery with switches for each occupation.
