i just got an email from him with some prime dates. Any one interested? If so, let me know.
Here are the best tide days for 2010.
June 3-6 & 17-20
July 17-18 29-30
August 16-20
As he said, "These are the just the best days, fishing can be good at any tide but the listed dates have perfect tides."
And remember, you get Ribs and Chicken provided on all trips except Mondays and Tuesdays.
His price of $225 has not changed in the last five years.

This is a striper trip right?

Top water LMB and NSH....the upper reaches of the Mattawoman....out of Slavin's....all on top....mouse patterns. Ask Dan about it.

How many people does he take out? Maybe the fishing club will do it.

Oh I remember Dan telling me about it, for those unfamiliar with the potomac this would be a great opportunity to get out and learn a thing or two about their habits and preferred habitats in the creeks. I'll stick to my plan of getting a kayak and exploring the river

Ernie invited me along to one of these trips last year. I can't say enough about how awesome it was. Capt. Mike is a fantastic guide. We all had a great time and caught a bunch of fish. If you want to work on your topwaters and frogs, this is a great way to do it.
Also, the ribs were great but the chicken was literally the best I have ever had. Honestly.

Two at a time because it is a small boat (to get into some very small water).
With some of the money you guys make from the Flea Market, you could hire Capt. Mike and have a drawing for two lucky anglers.
Or you can have a drawing for one person ($112.50) and I will take the other spot. I'll drive butt it has to be a day other than Monday or Tuesday (he can't get the ribs/chicken those days).!
This is a great trip.....unique.

I'll check with the club during our next meeting to see if they would want to do it.

Mike- You want to split the trip for one of these dates?
Jul 17 or 18 or Aug 16-20
Offline
The July dates are better for me, I have to go to a wedding that week in August. How does the 17th sound?
Offline
I will email Mike and see if we can get July 17.....NHBA Kids Derby form 8a-1p and fishing with the two Mike's from 4-9p....already looking forward to it.

Me too!
Dreams of flinging plastic frogs amongst the lily pads in the back of the back will surely help me through this long, dreary winter...

Hey Dan did you paint that frog yourself? It looks like a spro, but I don't think I've seen that color.
BTW nice fish!
Offline
Nope, that's a stock color. I believe it's called Putty Black. That little frog caught me a BUNCH of bass last year and one of my snakeheads.

Top water LMB waaaaay back in the shallows....plus a possibility for NSH!
Contact Capt. Mike at http://www.indianheadcharters.com/reserve.htm to make a reservation.
You will not be disappointed. However, on the 17th....no BBQ....but he will have other goodies.
