Pacemaker Fishing Forum

The 22nd Rapidan Chapter Annual Fishing Show will be held at the Middleburg Community Center in Middleburg, VA on Sunday, February 7, 2010.  This is our annual fundraiser for the Chapter’s conservation projects, annual Youth Conservation and Fishing Camp, Trout in the Classroom, Heritage Day (Kid’s Day fishing), Chapter operations, and stream restoration and cleanup.

There will be 35 tables of vendors and volunteer organizations and nine trout and smallmouth bass seminars.  Additionally, Jeff Murray, our Keynote Speaker, will present “Mountain Trout Fishing“.

Also, there will be beginner and advanced fly tying demonstrations, fishing tackle & services, popper making, outdoor art, cane rod makers, antique equipment, float trips, kids aquatic life, hourly door prizes, representatives from Shenandoah National Park, Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF), Project Healing Waters, Chesapeake Women Anglers, Shenandoah River Keeper, and the US Forest Service.  Hot food and beverages will be available for purchase.

There will be two premium raffles at the show as well–An all expenses paid trip for two to Yellowstone National Park and a Premium Rod Raffle with 5 additional prizes.

Show hours are 9:30am to 4:30pm, with admission of $5/adult and $8/family.

Raffle tickets for the Yellowstone Trip for two are $25 each and only 300 tickets are printed.  Premium Rod Raffle tickets are available for $5 each or 6 for $25.
