Interesting Striper info

Some one on TF posted the following: "In late Dec. I posted that I caught a federal tagged fish at Smith Pt, it had a spaghetti type pink tag, fish was 29 lb 39 inch female. I mailed the tag and just received a certificate from Federal Fish and Game. The fish was tagged in Delaware Bay, NJ on March 3, 1994 and was 23 1/4 inches long at the time. It was a wild fish, not from a fishery."

So....that fish grew about 16 inches in 14.5 years.

Time to go fishin' again!

Cool post. Hard to believe they only grow an inch a year.
