Dr. Mo and I launched at 6:30AM and went in search of white perch. This was his first experience using plastic grubs on ultra light. We headed upriver trying the points and creeks. He got things started with a small bluefish. We then began picking up a few perch at each stop without finding a large school at any one place. We were fishing the falling tide. By midday we had suceeded in catching fourty-one perch, some small bluefish, croakers (under size), and several redfish. Dr. Mo caught one redfish that was about fifteen inches. The redfish fought so hard that I thought he had hooked a rockfish.

Carl,
It's great that you are catching some puppy drum!
I want to fish the mouth of the Choptank River again...that's where I caught and lost the biggest white perch I have ever seen. It's big water!
This is the link to my report from last year.
