Capt Dave gets another boat

Capt Dave needed a boat for catfish and crappie to fill out his summer. He is buying Capt Brady's Atlantic CC next weekend. Preparations are underway to convert this fine vessel into a catfish/crappie fishing machine. Rod holders are being purchased and a trolling motor added. The toughest part is the bait well. It needs to be mounted to the deck in front of the console and double as a seat. This step is costly and both of us are watching the various used equipment sections of the interwebs  to find the right one at the right price. If see something that might work feel free to let us know.

So with the addition of this boat I now have many open dates in spring and fall for catfish and crappie.

Good news since I turn away so many trips in the spring due to being booked up. Photos will be posted before and after conversion.

Very nice.....I have fished on that boat and it's a solid vessel. Will be interesting to see if I will even recognize it after you guys are done with it.

Time to go fishin' again!

There are occasionally good deals on live-wells on the Smith Mountain Lake striper fishing boards. I haven't been there in awhile but you might try a WTB there?

Re: Capt Dave gets another boat

Today at Dale City Flea Market we found a Dragonfly 46% off. Capt Dave now has a Dragonfly CHIRP on his boat.
