Got this email today From Capt. Johns. For those who don't know, Capt J's is a marina/restaurant/crab house located at Cobb Island, MD They have an extensive seafood menu and steamed crabs at reasonable prices. The ship's store rents boats and motors that give access to excellent croaker, perch and catfish fishing.

As fast as the little ones grow this loner program should be a real benefit to parents using the facilities there.  Thanks,  Bob

We Need your help.

We are writing to our guest and friends to ask for your vote in the BoatUS Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water, Life Jacket Loaner Program.
Have you ever had a chance to take a kid for a boat ride and did not have the correct size life jacket available? Did the kid miss out on the trip or did you find a jacket that was close but still did not the correct fit? There are even more requirement for children under 4 so it is important to have the correct size jacket.
 
    The BoatUS Foundation has a Life Jacket Loaner Program, so you can have the correct jacket at any time to use at no charge. Capt. Johns has applied to become a site for this program. Our application has been approved to go to the voting stage to be voted on by the public. So to help us show a need for this program please go to http://www.boatus.com/foundation/ljlp/voting.asp  and vote for us to become a loaner site. Please use the power of your Facebook friends to vote also. You do not have to sign up for anything.
   
Remember if we become a loaner site you may walk in and borrow a kids life jacket at no cost. In addition we do not make any commission or direct profit on this program.
Water safety for kids is something I feel very strongly about. There is no reason for any child to be in danger for an improperly sized life jacket
