Introducing myself

Hi Everyone

I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself. I got into fishing at the end of February 2012 (trout) and immediately got addicted! I can finally relate when someone says "I'd rather be fishing!"

Inspiration kept being fueled thanks to a gentleman with genuine videos about his fishing excursions who I just realized is on this forum as well (ComeOnFish). Joe's videos are really awesome and his genuine nature is very refreshing. They are my go to videos for stress relief LOL! I hope to get a chance to meet him one of these days.

This past Labor Day weekend was the first time I've been salt water fishing and I got to go with amazing people (Capt. Mike, Dave S. and Steve C.) and since then I've been dreaming about salt water fishing!! These guys never left any question I had unanswered and they were incredibly generous with their tips and advice. Thank you so much guys!

My perfect day of fishing is to be able to be out on the water, catch a tasty species, gut it, clean it, season it and throw it on the grill.... or better yet roast it masgouf style. From the water to the dinner table... That's what I'm talking about!

On a personal note, I adhere very strongly to my religion, which means I won't lie, I won't trespass, I won't bad mouth, and I won't be at a table or in a boat when alcohol is being consumed. If any of those things are taking place during a fishing excursion, I'm going to politely bow out. It's a personal choice smile.

I look forward to meeting other anglers and exchanging information. My personal belief is to pass on knowledge to keep spreading the benefit!

update: I forgot to include my name LOL! big_smile

Re: Introducing myself

Welcome. Mustafa
Ernie has started a great fishing community with this forum. It has been fun to see it grow.
I don't fish as much as I used to, but I always check in to see how everyone is doing. I think you will enjoy it.

Re: Introducing myself

Have you seen any of my videos?  I've posted some here and on the NHBA forum.  It's been a while since I've had anything worth recording.
