Finally fished this area for the first time this year. I wanted to get some more sleep rather than get up early and go the the Fletcher's area. So I decided to head over to Kepheart and got launched by 8:45. First I caught some sunfish and really small smallies on a mini firetiger crankbait. Then I just missed a largemouth. I threw to the same area with a senko and got this yellow-bellied one.
I had some company.
Then I had some less friendly company. A Canada goose thought it would be a good idea to attack me. I've got rods and I know how to use them. Then I went on the offensive and chased it up the creek some.
Once I got to the river I tried just upstream a bit with a new black/blue rage tail craw. I was dragging it along the bottom when I hooked up with a good one. I was using my setup with 30lb braid+20lb fluoro leader so I wasn't going to hesitate in muscling it in and I thought I had it stuck good. But it came flying about three feet out of the water and got off.
It must've been a 4lb-er largemouth.
I fished all the way down to Lansdowne only getting one smallie on a senko. Then on the way back, in the area across from the creek and just up the the creek I got two more smallies. Both went for the lime Bomber A I got on clearance at Walmart.
The second one I didn't realize I had until it got tangled on my other line with it started moving.

I've caught two fish on one lure, but I've never caught two lures on one fish. Nice job.
