Pacemaker Fishing Forum

Today I spend a few hours down in Fredericksburg VA at the F'burg Fly Fishing Show. This is a high quality show with great vendors but more important, great seminar speakers. I attended three separate seminars:

Beau Beasely- local firefighter (Fairfax County) that fly fishes all over the state. His talk was very informative.

Bob Clouser- this guy, nearly 70, is a living legend. The famous Clouser Fly is aptly named after him after al, he invented it). During his 1.5 hour talk, I learned more about fishing (and fly fishing) than I could have reading 3-4 books. He was incredible. Nice man.

Cory Routh- this guy is an up and comer and his specialty is kayak fishing. I just bought a kayak to use in Cedar lake (standing kills my knees). He gave me several pointers and I can't wait to launch the yak in the evenings after work.

As always, I entered every raffle they had and am hoping to get a call tomorrow telling me I won something.

This was a great way to get a fishing fix (not quite the real thing) especially since it was so cold today.
