This winter, I have gone to several fishing shows (Upper Marlboro Chesapeake Fishing Show, College Park Fly Fishing Show, Pasadena Sportfishing Show and the Tidal Tie Fest). Alll of them were excellent and there were lots of good deals on equipment and tackle.

At all of the shows, I met fellow anglers and talked fishing with them which means lots of great info. My biggest question is, when will I have the time to use all that knowledge. Another highlight of these shows was the seminars given by various fishing experts.....incredible information and free for the taking!

Next year, I will list all the shows on the calendar page so that you can plan to attend one (or 2 or 3 etc).

Also, it is not a bad way to spend a cold January or February Saturday. But be careful, you can spend some major $$!!
