We're just over 3' at POR. That's normal flow. Way up from the .9' it got to. The prediction is 19'. History says it won't get there.

But...the 'doah is getting a scouring and that's all headed down here.

I sure hope so. We need it. And with all this talk of bacteria from the heat & low water, all our rivers need a good scouring

Now at 4.51' but downgraded expected rise to 15.7' at POR...

For now, it looks lie POR will top out at 12.48". But there was a lot of rain elsewhere. Wonder if there will be another surge?

Interestingly, Dulles got less than 2" for this event. Luray was just shy of 6" so the 'doah will be roaring.

Purcelville got over 7"! Lots of my middle son's neighbors have flooded basements.

We didn't get much rain other than a good watering of the grass.

Forecasters were predicting Armageddon for the local rivers the night before the storm hit us and the river barely bumped up the next morning. They're up now from all the water coming down river but nothing close to what was being forecasted.
