11-10-07. Cedar Lake

Went out for a few minutes when the sun came out thinking it would warm up.....anyway...the 1st cast (behind my house) produced a nice largemouth that was a bit over a pound. I was using my 6wt fly rod and had a brown wolly bugger with rubber legs at the end of the line. But as Kwanh said when I saw him, "the bite shuts down fast".

I moved over about 55 yards and was able to wrestle a nice fat blue gill up to the shore.

That was it...after 20 minutes, I went in due to frozen fingers and nose.

I should have specified that I went out in the PM when the sun broke through the clouds. The AM was way too cold!!
