10/25/09 Potomac River (DC waters)
Trolled spoonbill type lures for a few hours in the afternoon until just before sunset. The action was slow, but we did manage to get a 24 lb kitty.

In that part of the river we have come to favor the area mapped below and we don't troll in water shallower than 15 ft. A lot of the hits come when going under those bridges. (Hint: troll by the sides of the bridge pilings as close as you dare.)
