John Sexton, who lives in NC, was coming up to DC for some meetings so he called and asked if I could fish on Monday PM. Hmmmm....always want to do that but I had meetings in the afternoon and no way to get my boat in time to fish.
So...I remembered that Bob B might be on the water as it was an odd day (when he has the boat). Sure enough, he graciously offered to take us so we met him at Columbia Island Marina after work.
It was a beautiful day, high pressure system, blue bird skies and a full moon! Just what the doctor did not order.....but we didn't care, it was time to get a few hours on the water with Bob, his sister Alice, his fiancee Janet and John.
The sightseeing was awesome as usual....
....and we trolled and strained a lot of water but we only managed one 3 pound blue cat.....
....who hit an old Rebel (straight) with cut up hooks....just like Curly likes 'em!
Bob's crew did catch a little striper earlier on their sightseeing trip and we id d have a couple of nice knockdowns.
Sine it was such a delightful evening, I put the camera to work.
That's all!

Ernie, you really have an "eye" for taking interesting pictures. Keep up the good work. We can all live vicariously through them. I was back on Spa Creek yesterday.
