went on a mission to catch snakeheads in Little Hunting Run this afternoon. Met up with a new fishing partner down there and fished the bank a little while until his friend showed up and we headed out on a little jon boat with trolling motor. We fished our way out of LHR and out into the Potomac, fishing frogs, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and walking baits along the acres and acres of grass mats that bordered the creek channels. We didn't end up catching any snakeheads but we did get a few to swipe at our baits. We ended up catching around 25 bass from the .5-3.5lb range, all of which came on topwaters or spinners as the sun started to get low outside of the creek.

I am determined to catch a snakehead. I am confident this is the spot to do it.
