cedar tues

i caught plenty of fish on a wacky senko.

they bit a shad pattern as well as a metal flake red

some were a bit larger than normal, but less than 2#

i had a nice one throw the hook on the jump, may have been 3#'s at the outside.

all of the better fish took the senko well off the bank, and on the drop.

the rock pile and the dam bank were the best producers.

i caught a few w/ a vertical presentation along the deep cut bank in the back cove

Re: cedar tues

I caught only one in an hour or so of fishing but I had two break offs (operator error on one) and 3-4 that got unbuttoned. I guess I need to sharpen my skills after the weekend of salt water fishing!

Re: cedar tues

Wacky stuff and flukes....one fish took the 5" worm right off the ring (which stayed on the hook), one fish took the whole wacky rig minus teh hook, one fish slithered away as my blood knot gave way (I forgot to retie that one), one fish bit the tail off a fluke (turtle?)...I could go on....weird night.
