Topwater Dinkfest 4/24
Went to a local lake in Burke last night for about 4 hrs beginning just before sundown. Started throwing two topwater baits: a Rage Tail Shad and the classic black jitterbug. I was a literal dink magnet, caught 8 LMB with the largest ~ 9 inches, but, it was topwater, and so much fun at night, I couldn't stop. Finally, I switched to dark plastic jerkbaits: a black fluke and a black/blue flake senko imitation from Alluring baits. Caught this 1-12 LMB on the fluke, the only keeper bass of the night:
and, senkos are not just for bass anymore. This guy was 1-5, and look at that fat belly. The way he bent the rod, I thought he was much heavier.

I sent you an email regarding getting a jon in there. Basically, I'm game, I think a jon/canoe would be perfect on that lake, and I've got some ideas for spots that you can't reach from the bank. I used your email from BR: if that is not still active, let me know using PTO email.
