fly-fishing at JMU

I went out to the local lake down here at school. I spent most of my time baitcasting for bass and got one on a senko that went about 1.5lbs. Then I decided to try my fly rod and practice my casting. I tied on one of the flies Mr. Rojas gave me to start with (the blue shiny one) and started casting to some spots where I had seen some bluegills earlier. I ended up catching a sunfish and a very small largemouth. My first fish on the fly rod! I gotta say it was pretty fun. I am definitely getting better at casting as well.

Pics to come soon.
