3/14/08 beach & Cedar

i fished cedar around 11 am.
was pleasantly surprised by catching 5 small bass on 1/16 jig.

the fish all took the jig motionless, on bottom.

i saw another fellow fishing, who spent a lot of time walking and changing baits.

it was interesting to see insects in the 40 degree temps, and baitfish taking them off the surface.
the bait was shallow as well, visible among the rocks along the bank.

i caught a bass at beach as well.
the fish coughed up a 2' minnow as i brought him in.

the fish are moving, becoming active, but patience was the key for me.

i am learning these waters, trying to get my mind into the rythym of their ways
