Beech and Alder Report - 03/11/09

Today I hit Beech and Alder with far different results than anything I have experienced in the last few months. I was throwing a small 1.5-2" chartreuse grub going for Crappie and/or Bluegill. I caught ZERO Crappie and/or Bluegill.....but.....

First cast - bass
Second cast - bass
Fifth cast - bass

And so on and so forth.

I ended up with 9 bass in Beech with the biggest going close to a pound (it also happened to be the last).
I ended up with 4 bass in Alder while fishing across the way from Jeff (good to see you today).

Good times...tight lines....FINALLY!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

I watched Patrick catch and release four bass in Alder all in about 2 minutes. Or was that the bait wink Anyway I didn't even catch a cold.
