7-8-07 upper Potomac report

I launched at Algonkian 6am. Clear sky's and a forcast high of 95 degrees. Water was clear, low and 81 degrees. There was lots of bait fish on the surface early and I had sucess casting a buzz bait into those areas.
Later that morning I was finding fish in the deeper holes that had some kind of cover using 4inch tubes. All the fish I landing were between 10-13 inches. I stoped counting after a while.
The bigger fish were there, but very spooky with the low clear water.
By 9:30 there were boats everywhere. Lots of people tearing up props. You could hear them hitting bottom. By 11 it was to hot to fish.

All in all a nice couple of hours on the water. I located a couple of really nice holes that I didn't know about and can't wait to go with a little better conditions.

That was my old fishing ground....used to love to fish that area. Glad you caught some. Let's go on a cloudy day!
