bass biting well at farm pond, 3/7

activity was stirring.

caught a dozen, w/ a couple over 2 pounds.

small jigs, fished slow

Very nice....I may try Cedar tomorrow if I get some time.

As you saw, I cajoled Carl into going fishing today.....his rib is sore so he may be out for a few days....unless Dr. Mo fixed him up!


Time to go fishin' again!

went back sunday and really hit them while the wind was blowing in mid afternoon.

more than 2 dozen bass ( all about 12")

4 crappie and 4 really nice bluegill

great fun on light tackle.

all on a 1/16 ounce jig w/ a grub i make from a senko by slicing it w/ a razor blade.

when the wind quit so did the fish.

and the story about fishing the shore the wind is blowing on was key to the success
