Started a bit later to let water warm up and sleep in for the kids. Wind was steady at 15 mph out of the west north west and gusting to 25 at times. West wind really cuts down places to hide from that cold wind. But we found a spot where the big cats where chowing down on shad die off. Second line out and fish on. Steady bite with doubles mixed in for the next two hours. Live well was filled and the rest of the eaters released. Wind shifted more west and we got chilled. Moved to a leeward spot and got a big one. Many more eaters released too. Wind died and so did the bite. Great day with three little kids and two brothers.

Spotted one of my favorite foods in your cup holder! My mom would make a hearty "beef" stew with them which included potatoes and hard boiled eggs in the stew. Still one my all time favorite dishes.

Wow, nice catch!
Wait, you mean the vienna sausages? lol. And people try to shame me for eating spam.....I look down on vienna sausage eaters....just kidding. hahahah. Great stuff guys!
