Ever try trout fishing small streams in the winter?  You'll stay warm.

Re: Fishing addiction

We are getting some decent temps into next week, but I think there is ice that needs to melt first.  Drove over POR bridge and looked like skim ice.  Gauge temp is rising to 34.  That is COLD!  I hope the warmer rain helps.

Always wishin' I was fishin'

As Curly mentioned, the days are now slowly getting longer. Hopefully, that will get the river water temps to go up some. Let's hope we don't have another arctic blast any time soon.

Remember hiking in 20dF?  Same as fishing the banks for trout.  Move around enough and you'll be warm

And...yes, I know. If you put on the right clothes you will be warm. Ha! lol

After last week I've changed my saying to add ".... unless the temps are negative"
