I gotta admit, the drive to White's Ferry is getting to me...but there's a Grill there that lures me in. cool

The forecast for today was iffy. I was more worried about the wind than the rain but we got a good soaking and the wind was just a mild PIA.

Bob and I met up at the ramp at 8:15a and were on the water soon thereafter.

At 1st, we fished the same area that George and I started fishing on Monday. Quickly, Bob had two hook ups but both got away. He also had another bite or two.

We stayed there longer than anticipated and pondered going down river after seeing other boats come up but I have to remember that I have a bigger boat than most and it's not a flat bottom boat which is highly important when running up ledges.

Right in the middle of the river, I got bit right where George did on Monday. A nice 14.25"er!

After no more bites, we ran up, making one fruitless stop.

Once up at the ledge, we started drifting. We saw a boat come down and try to quietly come down the ledge. He was trying to be nice and not disturb us. He got stuck and had to get out and push the bot off the ledge. He also sucked up some rocks. Not fun!

It had just started to sprinkle and the water was clear, low and swift so we floated down trying to fish rocky targets. I found one and threw at it. I thought it was a hangup since it didn't move at 1st. But then it did!!

I usually don't post 3 pics of one fish but this was a PIG! He was 18"s and weighed 3.66lbs!

Did I say it rained for a while?

As it has been, fishing was kinda slow but we picked one up here and there...

Bob wanted to finish where we started so I went there. Immediately, he gets hit but no cigar. Then I get one.

Another 14+"er...I think Bob called me something to do with a hiney! lol lol

We got off the water just before 1:30p and both enjoyed a very good pastrami, coned beef sub. So far, everything I've eaten at the Grill has been very good.

What a pig that 18"er was!  Cool Walleye also.  Sounds like a pretty active day overall.  You are doing well up there in that skinny water!  Awesome report!
