Jan 6-7 Snow Total Prediction Thread

Since Curly is still without power, I wanted to post this up.

Same rules apply.

Enter your guess by 8p on Thursday (1/6).

1/2" increments...Dulles Airport is the gauge.

Yep...and not getting too political, electricity is one of the things that gets rationed in socialist countries. For the good of all!

We have wasted so much money putting cables in the air.  That is capitalism.  They get you one way or another.  We still end up without power.

Just to be clear, I am not on the side of socialism.  Sometimes we think short term and it will cost us in the long run.

Congrats, Curly!

Just got back from driving my wife to work.  Blowing snow is making for some slushy/icy spots.  Be careful.

Re: Jan 6-7 Snow Total Prediction Thread

And Curly gets the Atta boy!

On my drive to Scottsville yesterday, the scenery was outstanding. Lots of snow on the hills and fields. Plus, lots of downed trees especially on the 2 lane roads. At some point, some of them good ole boys took their chains saws to them.

Re: Jan 6-7 Snow Total Prediction Thread

We got near 4" but very little on the sidewalk and driveway. Clean up today was 15 minutes...

Kids in the 'hood are having a blast playing in it. So good to see.
