Upper Potomac 11/4/21 100%

Finally got out to test the boat.  The fuel cap clog was the problem and the motor is running 100% now!  Fished from a little after 8:00am and off the water by 3:00pm.

Fishing was slow with water temps 49 to 51 degrees.  Nice green water color.  Leaves falling pretty good.  Ran around and finally parked at the cliff.  Got maybe 4 hits.  One caught on the little swimbait and one lost on the tube.  Nice chunk at 17" caught.

I was the only boat upstream that I saw.  Chilly, but nice day out.

Glad the motor problem got fixed. Sounds like a simple enough fix...just needed to burp it! lol

Nice smallie!

Thanks again to George and my brother in law, Jimmy for guiding me as to where to look.

Yeah, I waited until it got to above 32 degrees. LOL.

I had a great fight with that fish.  I had bent the small hook a couple times on snags and I did not want to horse it in.  Had 10 pound braid on the ML 6'3' rod, with an 8 pound leader.  Fish was head shanking like crazy and it shook it's head at least 3 times at the surface.  I loosened the drag after I knew I had him hooked and it worked out well.
