The Lake Fairfax Veterans Family Trout Derby is a FREE event to honor our Service Members and their Families.

FishingCommunity.Org has teamed up Fairfax County Park Authority for the Annual Lake Fairfax Veterans Family Trout Derby.

Date: Oct 30, 2021
Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: 1400 Lake Fairfax Drive, Reston

What's included:

- All Fishing Equipment for our Wounded Heroes and their families
- Lunch for our Wounded Heroes and their families
- Volunteers to show you and lessons from the pros
- Fishing: This is an informal shore fishing event for Wounded, Injured or ILL Heroes, Veterans and their families/support personnel.

Trout is being stocked tomorrow and it looks like he rain will be done before Saturday!

Looks like we will have 15-20 participants...and they are willing to fish in the rain. After all, they are all veterans and have been through much worse!

We had an amazing event on an amazing day with some amazing people! Many thanks to all the volunteers and to Wegman's who provided lunch. The pics will tell the story...
