Upper Potomac 9/27/21

Got on the water about 7am.  Beautiful sunrise.

Water was stained to muddy.  Level started at 4.35 feet at POR.  Water temps were low 60's.  Super slow fishing.  Finally got one on a tube at the rocks.  It was 15.25" and chunky.

I missed another bite before I caught that one.

I moved around and tried Goose Creek.  Ate lunch up there.  Ended up floating an island on the way back and missed one bite and had one follow on the tube.  Nothing else was getting any interest.

Overall nice day with lots of fishing birds, raptors and some deer.  Ragweed was getting to me bad and my eyes were shot by the time I came in.  I got off the water around 3pm.

That’s a long day of fishing…like the tourney guys. Glad you got a chunk!

Beautiful day out though….
